Who is Larry Liberty...

Larry has a unique background, with over twenty-five years of experience and advanced academic credentials with special expertise in:

After earning a Bachelor's degree from the University of California, He joined the Peace Corps and spent over a year living in Brazil. His time there gave him surprising insights about how organizations and cultures really work and what blocks their effectiveness. This would become an essential theme in his future consulting and writing.

While working as a senior manager, consulting for the State of California, he received his Masters Degree from the University of Southern California. In 1975 he began a seven-year period of being an executive consultant for Kepner-Tregoe, and then worked as a regional manager and executive for what is now, Landmark Education, having P&L responsibility for the Southeastern U.S.

In 1981 he created his consulting practice that evolved into the Liberty Consulting Team. He received his Doctorate from Sierra University, a university without walls institute in 1985. During that period he became a principle consultant to NASA in the study, and later the creation, of a new technology for creating High Performance Teams who will live in the space station. This was the topic for his doctoral dissertation. He has personally trained, facilitated, coached and consulted with over 100,000 managers and staff and is the personal coach to many managers and executives.
